This summer, take a journey through time as Living in the Past returns to the Simcoe County Museum! Every Sunday afternoon in July and August, the museum’s galleries and grounds will come alive with the sights, sounds and skills of the past.

Experience history hands-on with live demonstration and interactive activities that showcase how early settlers lived and worked. Watch blacksmiths at the forge, learn the traditional crafts of rope and candle making, and try your hand at weaving and embroidery.

Perfect for families, history buffs, and curious minds of all ages, this immersive experience offers a fun and educational way to connect with Simcoe County’s rich heritage.
