Museum After Hours at the Simcoe County Museum is back this summer with a fun and engaging lineup of evening experiences for all ages. Held on Tuesday evenings in July and August, these relaxed after-hours events invite visitors to explore the museum in a whole new way. Swing by the museum this evening to learn about rationing and Victory Gardens while making an Applesauce cake from a Second World War Canadian home front cookbook. We will be taking our cakes out to bake in the museum’s bread oven, while they are baking visitors are welcome to explore the grounds.
