Barrie's Main Street

A walk down Barrie’s Main Street exhibit transports visitors back to the turn of the 20th Century, into the heart of downtown Barrie. The stores depicted in this exhibit are recreations of actual stores and businesses that operated in Barrie between 1890 and 1910. Represented in this gallery are several businesses, including Simmons Hat and Furs, George Monkman Apothecary, Lawrence's Fair and H.H. Otton Hardware.
