The Simcoe County Museum continues to grow, thanks to the generosity of our members, donors, partner groups and volunteers over the years. Their efforts and contributions have helped to enhance the Museum’s collections, produce incredible events, create and deliver interactive heritage programs for children and adults. In 2006, the museum completed a 10,000 square foot expansion that has modernized the main facility and allows us to better meet the needs of our visitors and respond to the cultural needs and interests of the growing population in Simcoe County. By fundraising, we are able to partner with other museums to bring travelling exhibits to our visitors, create further opportunities for adult and youth education and involvement with the museum, and remain one of the leading educational and tourist attractions in Ontario and Canada.
