Pioneer Kids Club

3 Saturdays - April 4, 18 and 25, 2020
9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Click here to go to the Pioneer Kids Club Registration page.

Turn off those electronics and get your kids engaged in history and education by joining us for our Pioneer Kids Club. The program runs three Saturday mornings in April (not the Easter long weekend) and introduces children to the life of a pioneer with games, food and crafts. Everything from attire to tasty recipes will allow participants to experience what life was like for a pioneer kid. Using the same recipes that the early settlers used, including cooking in our outdoor bread oven, our pioneer kids will make and enjoy their own authentic snacks including scones, bread and fresh made butter. Learn a school lesson from 1837 in our one-room schoolhouse, and try your hand at pioneer crafts.

Pioneer Kids Club is suitable for children ages 6 to 12, and costs $48 for the three week program. Registration is required and is available by clicking the link above. Space is limited so register early to avoid disappointment.
